Introduction to Rural Community and Economic Development Webinar

Through this presentation, participants learned about the Rural LISC approach to community and economic development. Participants also learned about the range of potential partners for this work and how they could be of value and assistance to rural law enforcement agencies. Participants heard from the Tamaqua community and their use of community development principles and LISC support to reduce crime and crime risk. At the conclusion of this event, participants gained an increased understanding of the role community and economic development efforts can play in supporting rural crime prevention.
