Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative Solicitation Webinar

The Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative (RVCRI) team is thrilled to announce the launch of the RVCRI Microgrant Application! RVCRI, funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and supported by the National Policing Institute and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), provides microgrants and training and technical assistance (TTA) support to law enforcement agencies addressing violent crime challenges in rural areas. Awards will range from $25,000 – $150,000. Applications and awards will be made on a rolling cohort basis with the first cohort deadline being December 15, 2022.

On November 10, 2022, at 2:00pm ET, the RVCRI team will host a solicitation webinar to discuss the RVCRI microgrant application requirements and process. During this event, the RVCRI team will answer the following questions:

1. What is the RVCRI?
2. Who is the RVCRI Team?
3. Who is eligible to be a RVCRI micrograntee?
4. What are the duties of RVCRI micrograntees?
5. How do I apply to be a RVCRI micrograntee?
6. What are allowable costs under the RVCRI?
7. When are RVCRI applications due?
8. How can I contact the RVCRI team?
